On this day....August 9th, 1986 I drove to Hollywood to sit down and do an interview with Siouxsie Sioux and her long time Banshees drummer Budgy. It was a great interview! We talk for nearly an hour.
After the interview we posed for photos...and I forgot to take off the neck brace I was wearing. I had gotten rear ended by a drunk driver about a month before this day and was in some real pain and I needed the brace...but forgot about it being on for the photo.
Fortunately, Siousxie noticed and asked me if I could take off the brace for another photo...which I did...as you can see below.
We spent most of our time talking about the "Tinderbox" album, which was released in April of 1986. The album contained one of my all time favorite Banshee songs "Cities in Dust"
