On this day...many years ago....I had a really good car day!
I had purchased my first car- a used 1971 Chevy Nova....bought from my mom. It was nice and clean and...totally stock....I immediately set about doing upgrades to "hot rod" the car- which drove mom crazy...and I kept up the hot rodding for the next dozen years!
This was my very first upgrade: N50 15" rear tires, on custom rims. I had to install air shocks with extenders to get the car jacked up high enough to fit those big meats underneath. This led to the car getting it's nickname "stink bug".
I no longer have this car...and I wish I did...it'd be worth more now than my current car, which is only a year old....
