On Saturday a friend of mine told me about a way to go see great comedians perform...for free!
There is a place called "Comedy Heights" in University Heights that has free comedy shows on Saturday night.
Not only is it free to get in, you can bring in your own food and drink. I saw lots of pizza boxes and 12 packs through this small room where there were only about 60 seats. The room is connected to a coffee house, so many people got their food and drink from there.
We saw half a dozen comedians during this funny evening and the only money this place took in was when the literally passed around a hat for donations.
I reached out to the organizers of "Comedy Heights" and have yet to hear back from them. If I do, I'll report back about more upcoming free funny nights of comedy.
