Sister City Edition of Monthly Second Saturday Program at Temecula Museum

The Netherlands will be the celebrated culture during the Second Saturday program at the Temecula Valley Museum on April 13, 2019, in honor of the City of Temecula’s Sister City, Leidschendam-Voorburg, in the Netherlands. Enjoy refreshments, crafts, and a special art lesson by Tony Moramarco of Bigfoot Graphics.

The national holiday in the Kingdom of The Netherlands, King's Day (which occurs annually on April 27th), serves as the inspiration for this event. This holiday is held in honor of the King's birthday and is celebrated throughout Holland with music, street parties, flea markets, fairs, and the color orange! Orange is the traditional color of the Dutch royal family and is worn by all during the celebrations. In keeping with the tradition, the Temecula Valley Museum will have special orange-colored refreshments and decor.
