This is just as ridiculous as it sounds, but we all know Guinness keeps records of all types. A man in Idaho named David Rush took 43 hits to the face with wet sponges and it was all to break a Guinness World Record. He needed to accomplish it within 30 seconds. His friend threw 54 sponges at him and 43 successfully hit his face. The previous record was 36. David said safety was a priority during the record attempt and added, quote, "There's also no evidence that COVID-19 has ever been spread by a thrown wet sponge."
