Both Buehler for the Dodgers and Snell for the Padres pitched well but neither team could score more than 1 run, and the game ended up being the longest game ever in the "runner-at-second-base" extra inning era.
There were 7 intentional walks and 2 intentional BALKS in the game.. I've never seen that before!
Will Smith's homer in the 8th tied the game but it would be another 7 innings before either team scored.. and they did.. both teams scored TWICE in the 15th!
AJ Pollock's 2 run homer in the 16th finally gave the Dodgers the victory.
They can now finish off the SWEEP as Max Scherzer takes the mound for the series finally.
