The Flag Day Original Soundtrack accompanies the release of the Sean Penn directed, Cannes Film Festival selected film of the same name. The album is a collaborative effort containing contributions from Eddie & Olivia Vedder, Glen Hansard and Cat Power. The spirit of collaboration is perfectly showcased on the soundtrack's lead single "My Father's Daughter," which features a touching performance from Olivia on a track that was co-written by Glen Hansard and her father, Eddie.
