Dwight's Daily Dose of New Music: recorded in Joshua Tree-- New Mat Kearney

Today's Dose is new from Mat Kearney. It's called "Anywhere With You"

The following info comes from Play MPE:

Mat Kearney stripped back the songwriting process for January Flower, working first on an isolated retreat in Joshua Tree with old friend Marshall Roeman and songwriter Eli Teplin, and then in his home studio in Nashville with longtime collaborator Robert Marvin (who also helmed Kearney’s breakout Nothing Left To Lose and 2011’s chart-topping Young Love). “It was about digging down and finding the innocence that comes with wanting to make music solely for the love and passion of doing it,” he says. “I wanted to stay true to that voice.”

Over his career, the Nashville-based, Oregon-born Kearney has released five studio LPs, claimed the #1 spot on iTunes, topped multiple Billboard charts, made four entries into the Hot 100, amassed over 577 million on demand streams and over 2.5 BILLION global streams. A multi-platinum songwriter and producer, he has performed live on The TODAY Show, Ellen, The Tonight Show, Letterman and Jimmy Kimmel Live, and has garnered raves from USA Today, Entertainment Weekly, People, Billboard, PARADE and Marie Claire. He also has an incredible touring history, sharing the road with everyone from John Mayer to NEEDTOBREATHE as well as headlining numerous tours of his own.
