"Throwback Thursday": Interviews I've Done On This Day In Years Gone By

It's nice when Facebook reminds you of what happened "on this day" in your personal life.

For me today it was two fun interviews I have done on this day, with bands I have actually interviewed and worked with on shows multiple times.

I have interview Ule from Ozomatli many times over the years, but on this particular evening I interviewed the entire band backstage at the Sound down in San Diego. I'm not a big fan of that venue...but I'm a HUGE fan of Ozomatli!

I went to college (and discovered radio as a career choice) at Palomar down in San Marcos and this was WAY back in those college days, when I interviewed Brian O'Neal of The Busboys backstage at the Distillery East (closed a long time ago) down in Escondido. I still stay in touch with Brian to this day..
