Free Seed Packets at the Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library

Take your green thumbs to our local library and get ready to put them to work! here's info from the City of Temecula:

The Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library (30600 Pauba Road) will once again host the delightful and inspirational Little Sprouts Seed Library this Spring, beginning SAT, MAR 16, 2024. Community members are encouraged to visit the Children’s Library Section to pick up a variety of free organic seed packets including melons, carrots, squash, peppers, and more. After selecting their favorite fruit and vegetable seed packets, families will journey together as they plant, cultivate, grow, and harvest their very own produce in their home gardens. Parents can then prepare and cook a healthy meal with their children using their fresh home-grown ingredients. These valuable educational experiences will promote agriculture, sustainability, and wellness to the youth of the Temecula Valley.

The Little Sprouts Seed Library is made possible through partnership with Vlada’s Seeds of Life nonprofit organization and sponsored by the Friends of the Temecula Libraries. Visit Vladaseedsoflife.com to learn more about the program, or call the Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library at (951) 693- 8900 for more information.
