– The Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library (30600 Pauba Road) has some fun programs and volunteer opportunities coming up this month. Applications will open THU, AUG 1, 2024, for the Temecula Teen Library Council. Teens can earn community service hours and make a difference in their community. This program is for teens in grades 7 through 12 attending school in the Temecula Valley Unified School district or residing within the Temecula city limits. The Council will meet monthly, September 2024 through July 2025. Applications can be picked up at the reference desk and are due WED, AUG 21, 2024. If you love music and trivia, then you will not want to miss Music Trivia featuring music from various genres and decades on THU, AUG 29, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Adults (18+) can join us for a rockin’ time! Registration is required. Storytime is back at the Library in August! Enjoy simple stories, songs, bubble playtime, parachute, movement and signs at Baby Sign Storytime beginning TUE, AUG 13, 2024, at 10:00 am and 11:00 am. Foster early literacy and school readiness with stories, rhymes, and songs at Preschool Storytime beginning WED, AUG 14, 2024, at 10:00 am and 11:00 am. Expand vocabulary with engaging stories, rhymes, music, and movement at Toddler Storytime beginning THU, AUG 15, 2024, at 10:00 am and 11:00 am. Explore stories, fingerplays and songs in Spanish and English at La Hora del Cuento Storytime beginning THU, AUG 15, 2024, at 4:00 pm. Inclusive Storytime will begin on THU, AUG 22, 2024 at 4:00 pm. All programs are sponsored by the Friends of the Temecula Libraries and registration begins two weeks prior to scheduled program/event dates.
