My weekend started off good.. got great... then ended...notsofun...
On Friday I did what I talked about on the radio Friday morning. I went down and watched the San Diego Symphony perform 80's music, from the free area outside. You can actually go down there and watch and listen for free, even though they keep changing all the rules.
Our friend Lucy invited us to join them sitting outside and enjoy the gourmet food she brought (and the no so gourmet food that I brought), while watching and listening to the music under the stars.
Saturday I embarked on one of my favorite summer activities. Sailing over to Glorietta Bay, dropping anchor, and swimming, floating, eating and drinking all afternoon... as usual Capt Dave took great care of us and everyone had phenomenal fun in the sun.
In fact my good friend Karen "You Can't Go Wrong with Wong" had so much fun, she decided to stay another week before returning home to Singapore...
