My Musical Weekend- How Was Your Weekend?

  • My weekend started with a first attending of a live show with local Temecula Valley Artist Robert Rauch. I will be featuring new music from Robert as he will be releasing an album in late December...Tune in soon to "Dwight's Daily Dose of New Music Temecula Valley Tuesday" edition next month...
  • On Saturday I went to see a band I have already seen several times, and who I still think is the best unsigned band who play in San Diego and Temecula- Daring Greatly. It was an unusual performance- not at a bar, or a backyard, but a small theater-The Bornemann-

a 200-seat theatre and San Marcos' premier live entertainment destination. Situated in the esteemed Walter J. & Betty C. Zable Foundation Performing Arts Center, we offer a vibrant array of musical performances, comedic acts, dramatic productions, film screenings, improvisational shows, and beyond. Catering to both the public and the special needs community.

This performance allowed the band to do some music not usually done in clubs and with their opener - a singer from Santa Barbara- Jackson Gillies. Daring Greatly also have new music coming out in December, so I'll be featuring them on The Dose soon as well.

Special thanks to Victoria Vaughn for turning me on to both shows.. and for the good photos you see below...

How was your weekend? Tell me your story in words and photos and I just might make you a guest blogger.
