Yamamoto pitched fairly well and the Dodgers homered four times including a lead off homer by Ohtani and the first ever MLB homer by Kim.

11 year veteran Austin Barnes was "Designated For Assignment" which pretty much means the end of his career as a Dodger.
This was done to make room for probably the hottest hitting player in the Dodgers farm system. Dalton Rushing has been tearing it up at the plate in AAA ball and the Dodgers need another bat with Tommy Edmund and Teoscar Hernandez still on the IL.
Dalton will catch his first game in the major tomorrow night.. and he'll have his work cut out for him because, as of now, it's going to be another bullpen game.
Barnes will leave with many memories including catching the last out of the Dodgers 2020 World Series win. He will be missed.
