Watching fireworks on the 4th of July is always fun...but it's extra special when you can watch the fireworks bursting over a body of water. It truly enhances the viewing experience.
You don't have to leave the Temecula Valley to see fireworks over water, because you can see the spectacular show over Lake Elsinore.
Here are the details I gathered from the City of Lake Elsinore:
Fireworks Begin at 9:00 p.m.
Bring your blankets and lawn chairs, and enjoy the display from one of our free public viewing locations:
- Lakepoint Park
- Swick & Matich Park
- Whiskers Beach
- Elm Grove Beach (500 Lakeshore Drive)
Planning to Watch from the Water?
Launch your boat from Launch Pointe to catch the show from the lake. Fees apply:
- $10 – Single vehicle parking
- $40 – RV/Trailer parking

Important reminders:
- Navigation lights are required for all vessels after dark
- Reentry is not guaranteed once you leave
- Launch Pointe’s public beach remains underwater due to high lake levels, but shoreline viewing is available nearby at Elm Grove Beach
Whether on land or lake, gather your family and friends for a safe, memorable 4th of July celebration in Lake Elsinore.

Personal Fireworks Are Illegal in Lake Elsinore
The City of Lake Elsinore, in coordination with the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy on all personal fireworks. This includes sparklers and any other handheld or ground-based fireworks. Anyone found in possession of, or using, fireworks will be prosecuted and may be fined up to $1,000.
Fireworks pose serious risks to public safety, health, and property. Help protect your neighbors, pets, and community by enjoying the City’s professional fireworks show — and leaving the fireworks to the experts.
