Camila Cabello Hospitalized, Cancels Taylor Swift Performance

Camila Cabello was hospitalized after attending last night’s 2018 Billboard Music Awards and won’t be performing her opening set at Taylor Swift’s Reputation tour stop in Seattle, the songstress shared on social media on Monday, May 21.

“So yesterday after my performance at the Billboards, I was feeling really sick and ended up in the hospital to get checked out,” she shared on Twitter. “They ran a lot of tests and everything is fine, but the diagnosis was basically dehydration and I also have a low grade fever — the doctors told me I really have to rest otherwise I won’t get better — so unfortunately I won’t be able to perform my set during the Reputation tour in Seattle tomorrow. I’m so sorry to let you guys down and I promise I will make it up as soon as I can! I guess sometimes I just push myself too hard and I promise I’m gonna take better care of myself.”

The “Havana” songstress concluded that she didn’t have time to say thank you during the Billboard awards and she couldn’t be more grateful for her fans.

“Thank you for caring about me, thank you for sticking by me, it’s officially been a year since we started this journey together, and here’s to more memories, more joy, more love, more music, more health and more life!!,” she concluded. “I love youuuu.”

The songstress has been busy as of late. On top of promoting her debut solo album, Cabello has been opening for Swift’s Reputation stadium tour and also performed steamy new track “Sangria Wine" alongside Pharrell at the Billboard Music Awards, where she took home the award for Chart Achievement.
