Slipknot Set Fans Into A Frenzy With Mysterious Billboard

Slipknot's debut album turns 25 this year, and the band's already shared some of their plans but it looks like they have more up their sleeves.

A mysterious billboard recently popped up in Indio, California, which happens to be the site of the Coachella and Power Trip festivals, that's adorned with Slipknot'slogo along with the phrases "one night only" and "long may you die," and the URL The URL takes you to a retro looking website that is filled with references to the self-titled album, as well as Easter eggs including a future date for when the site was last updated: April 25, 2024. Could this be the date we can expect a formal announcement of what they're planning?

The words "Pay attention… the answers are all around you…" scroll on the top of the homepage, and fans have been eagerly trying to guess what the band could be teasing. Theories have ranged from a one off show to celebrate Slipknot's 25th anniversary to a full-blown festival like Knotfest (hence the billboard going up in Indio). Others are convinced the band is prepping a new single that will drop before they play the Sick New World festival on April 27.

We'll have to wait and see, but it's safe to say April 25 will be an important date for Sliplnot fans. For now, check out the billboard on Reddit and do your own sleuthing on the website.
