Amy (Hiatt) Hall Graduated from Coastal Carolina University in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in fine art, majoring in Studio Art. She has turned that degree into an ever-evolving career in in advertising and marketing over the last twenty-five years. Starting that career as a creative in an advertising agency, before moving into experiential marketing with RJ Reynolds and Audi of North America. Amy later co-founded Driversselect a successful retail automotive group in Dallas, TX. After spending 10 years on the brand side Amy decided to gain experience with multiple media broadcast outlets including CBS. Expanding on her marketing and entrepreneurial background by gaining national sales marketing experience. This led her to acquire The Barber Shop Marketing & Promotions in 2016. The Barber Shop Marketing is a full-service advertising agency-based Dallas, the number four market in the country.
Under her leadership in the last nine years the agency has expanded from a regional to a national presence with clients coast to coast and tripled in revenue. The Barbershop Marketing is continually recognized for its outstanding work with numerous creative and industry awards, including the 2024 Agency of the year from the Alliance for Women in Media. Amy and her team excel in developing brand growth strategies, executing key objectives, and leveraging opportunities for exceptional results. With strong interpersonal skills and creative strategies, she helps brands surpass their growth goals. Beyond her career success, Amy is a wife and mother of two. She is dedicated to mentorship and empowering women in the advertising and marketing industry. Serving on multiple boards including the Coastal Carolina University Edwards College Board of Visitors and The Alliance for Women in Media. She established a fund in 2019 to engage alumni with students at her college for ongoing mentorship.
Amy is also an active member to numerous industry organizations including the American Advertising Federation and American Marketing Association and prides herself on giving back to the community she serves by volunteering with various nonprofit organizations she supports.
