Come join us Saturday night at 8PM for our first Rising Star showcase at the Tilted Kilt here in Temecula.
Artists and bands are competing to see who become our official Rising Star Champion. Our Rising Star Champion will be featured at the Temecula Balloon & Wine Festival and will receive airplay and support from Radio 94/5 throughout the summer as our official champion.
Our first performer is no stranger to Radio 94/5 or to great success. Lindsey Carrier (in the picture with me), was part of the final season of American Idol and was good enough to get the "golden ticket" to Hollywood. She joined me during More Music in the Morning to talk about her experience on A.I. as it was happening. Lindsey has done many performance through the Temecula Valley and Radio 94/5 has been there for a few of them. Lindsey will join me in the studio this Friday morning for an interview. Tune in and get to know her!
Grass will close the showcase Saturday night. This veteran band has been gigging locally and beyond for many years. Singer John Lane was with me on last week's Sunday Night Music Meeting and we had a blast!
