Rhythm Wine Brews Experience Review

This was my first time at the RWB and I wanted to get as much of the experience as possible...so I got there early.....

The gates opened late.....but that didn't seem to matter, because everyone was in a great mood upon entering and there were over 70 booths featuring beers, wines, Kombucha, sparkling wines and more...truly something for everyone! There was never more than a 10 minute wait at any booth so everyone had a chance to taste all they wanted for a full 3 hours! Best "tasting" experience I've ever had...and I've been to quite a few!

The side stage was lively and fun and when the cover band Petty Cash (yes...covering Tom and Johnny) performed the crowd was jumping and dancing around and having a great time.....they even got treated with a special guest appearance by Bret Scallions of Fuel who came on stage and sang a Petty song...

Then on to the main stage....for the most part , great sound. She Wants Revenge was very entertaining, although there set was a tad too long. Psychedelic Furs were the highlight of the night (except that they couldn't get the mic on the saxophone to work- the only negative in the set.) The break before P Furs went on was a bit too long and the break after and before Stone Temple Pilots was WAY too long....STP tried their best with their new singer to reignite the crowd, but many had left and they didn't get the energy back up to the level that the P Furs had.

Getting in and out and the parking were AMAZINGLY easy...the parking attendants were actually very friendly..even taking cameras and taking pics for concert goers on their way in.

The wind made for some cold weather early on, but the night ended up beautiful....the moon, the mountains in the background, the stage lights was all a treat for the eyes.

VIP is worth it...a special area, with it's own bar..a special tasting area ONLY for VIP...and of course the best bathrooms- for festival goers..you know how important that can be.

All in all I would give RWB a definite HELL YES GO. Great fun, great people, great atmosphere...without all the crowd problems of those massive events held in the same location.
