I was lucky enough to get into the Casbah for the Elise Trouw concert and lucky enough that my friend Chris and I got right up front. Elise Trouw is famous for a couple of things...playing drums, bass and guitar into loops then singing over the music she makes...and for having an incredible voice.
If I just watched Elise sing and do nothing else, I would have been very impressed...but adding in all her talents, playing, songwriting, mashup arrangements and more...Elise Trouw is quite simply the most talented 18 year old artist I have ever seen...and I've been looking for and playing new young talent on the radio for over 30 years....YES...I am THAT impressed.
