The 10 Answers

1.       Shari Puorto Band

2.       Shari Puorto (lead vocals), Frank Scarpelli (bass), Mike Sauer (drums/vocals), Jon Greathouse (keys/organ/vocals), John DePatie (guitar)

3.       Too many bands to list! Ha.

4.       I can only speak for myself…Etta James, Allman Brothers, Bonnie Rait, Delbert McClinton, Little Feat, The Band, Susan Tedeschi

5.       J. Geils Band!

6.       So many great gigs….The best gigs are when people are attentive and into the music and really get it and go on a trip with us. Could be large festival crowd as it was when we played at the Doheny Blues Festival and the Waterfront Blues Festival or small intimate crowds.

7.       Tough question! There’s more than one! There are a few that are near and dear to my heart like, “Old Silo Road, and “Six Months Sober” found on the MY Obsession album. Then there’s “This Ain’t that Kind of Love Son” I wrote with Barry Goldberg (the Rides, Michale Bloomfield, etc) on my “Down the Road” release., but there are more!

8.       I hope to take my band to Europe, Asia and other countries that need to hear us. We have all gone individually or with other projects, but we need to go as a unit and kick some butt!

9.       Bonnie Rait, Delbert McClinton, Warren Haynes

10.   Blues/Rock/Roots with a whole lotta soul!
