For this blog we will concentrate on the new main courses...

Raven Hilden –  I can’t say enough about the amazing food at Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar in Temecula! I tried the Bone-In Apple-Sage Pork Chops which were paired perfectly with the apple cider gravy. The pork chops were cooked to perfection and the gravy made it extra delicious and mouth-watering! The winter veggies were roasted brussels sprouts, onions, rainbow carrots, and pomegranate with a cream that tied it all together. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service was fantastic.

Virginia Stratton- While I loved all the food we tried at the Lazy Dog Café my favorite was the Spaghetti Squash and Beet Balls. While this is not something that I would have typically ordered once I tried it, I loved it. The smell of the dish was incredible and the taste was even more amazing. This is their vegetarian spin on traditional spaghetti and meatballs. I am always looking for places that have options for my teenage daughter since she is leaning more towards vegetarian dishes these days. The taste of the homemade spaghetti squash with the marinara, Romano cheese and zucchini ribbons was delicious. The beet balls were very tasty with lots of yummy ingredients like beets, mushrooms, black beans, brown rice and more. The beets were not overpowering and I loved the flavor combination. I'll be bringing my daughter in soon so she can try it for sure!

For me I enjoyed the PB & J Burger- Lazy Dog has found a way to take the classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich and take it up about 100 notches as a burger with candy bacon and Havarti cheese on a brioche bun. Bring an appetite for this one..there is plenty to eat!

Below are pictures of my co-reviewers and the food you've just read about.....
