On this day in 1974, even though I was just a little kid.... I got to go see one of the greatest college football comeback games ever!
USC vs Notre Dame.... “The Comeback” Lead by Anthony Davis, Pat Haden, and J.K. McKay the Trojans executed one of the most notable comebacks in college football history as USC erased a 24-point deficit to beat defending national champion Notre Dame, 55-24, in the Coliseum.
I was there with my stepdad and USC alumni Robert Chambers (RIP Bob) and I saved the ticket.
Thanks Bob for one f my best childhood memories...
