Day 1 of the Chocolate Decadence and Wine Festival was a great time....and Day 2 was even better!
My visit started off on the far side parking garage. I was able to walk from the far side of the property all the way to Conference rooms inside Pechanga, which on this day was important as it was raining for part of the day.
As soon as I arrived I saw the live performers onstage who were entertaining the crowd. This band that started out as a soundtrack to all the tasting fun, became a major focus of the party later in the day, as the dance floor was full and people were dancing at their tables!
But the main focus...was the wine..and the food! Pechanga has many fantastic restaurants and those who attended got great samples of the wide variety of food. From sushi to tacos, there was a little bit of everything to taste while enjoying wines both local and foreign.
The longest wine line seemed to be the one for Wilson Creek. Their Coconut Nui sparkling wine is a favorite of mine, and it looked like that and the famous Almond sparkling wine was a big hit as well.
One of my favorites was also the Pinot Grigio from Wiens Family Cellars.
It was a great weekend of fun, conversation, music food, and especially wine!
I highly recommend that you make plans for 2020 to attend the 12th Annual Chocolate Decadence and Wine Festival.
