The new monthly program, Second Saturday, celebrates the history and heritage of the various and diverse cultures making Temecula home.
The next adventure will highlight Irish culture and be held this Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Temecula Valley Museum (28314 Mercedes Street).
All are welcome for this St. Patrick’s Day-themed event as we explore Irish culture through music provided by fiddler Michael Kelly, food from Shamrock Irish Pub and Eatery (while supplies last), and learning the meaning behind the shamrock as you make your own in the Museum’s Art and Education room. Also inside the museum, the exhibit A Photo Album of Ireland will be on display for guests to enjoy. This exhibition profiles ordinary and extraordinary histories, viewed from the perspective of private individuals and families. The images on display reveal details about how the people of Ireland lived, worked, and gathered.
The Temecula Valley Museum acknowledges the inextricable link between art, culture, history, and community by enhancing the current offerings and expanding the scope of what can be experienced.
Mark your calendars to join us the Second Saturday of every month for culture, entertainment, crafts, food, and fun!
