"Kool Kats" are Coming to the Temecula Valley Museum

The Temecula Valley Museum is delighted to exhibit One Kool Kat: The Art of Don Roth from Friday, April 19, 2019 through Sunday, May 12, 2019.

This exhibition was newly created by the Temecula Valley Museum in keeping with the museum’s direction to offer interesting cultural exhibits and to highlight the talent of noteworthy artists residing in the Temecula Valley.

Don Roth, local artist and art instructor, is the highly-acclaimed and award-winning creator of the famous Kool Kat Kollection that can be found on puzzles, postcards, and prints sold all over the world. The One Kool Kat: The Art Of Don Roth exhibit will feature this kollection and more, including pieces that have never been seen publicly before!

These painstakingly executed and highly-detailed paintings are achieved with acrylic paint, utilizing an extremely precise airbrush technique. This process gives these magnificent images exquisite and minute detail (mimicking the look of an actual photograph) while the nostalgic and whimsical scenes inform the admirer that they are actual paintings created by one Kool artist.

Learn more about these paintings, meet the artist, and be the first to experience this whimsical collection at the grand opening exhibit reception on Friday, April 19, 2019 at 6:30pm. Refreshments will be provided. Please reserve your spot for this reception by visiting TemeculaCA.gov/Register.
