Happy 64th birthday to my long time friend Peter Case!
Peter started his recorded career with a bay area band called the Nerves. They recorded a song called "Hanging On the Telephone"- later made famous when Blondie covered the song.
After the Nerves broke up Peter went on to form his most well known band: The Plimsouls. Their song "Million Miles Away" is still on the radio today and was one of a few songs that the band played onstage when they were featured in the film "Valley Girl"
