Active Shooter Drill

The Drill Will Simulate the Emergency Response to an Active Shooter Situation

Menifee Valley Medical Center is scheduled hold an active shooter DRILLthat will SIMULATEthe emergency response to an active shooter situation, including initial treatment, triage, and trauma stabilization. The drill will be held Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 9:00 am.

The drill is being held in conjunction with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Riverside County Emergency Management Department, Riverside University Behavioral Health Program, Mt. San Jacinto College EMT Program, Trauma Intervention Program of Southwest Riverside County, Employee Assistance Program, and American Medical Response.

“Proactively preparing for potential emergency response situations is our responsibility to our patients, staff, and the communities we serve,” said Peter Baronoff, CEO of KPC Health.  “Our local partners and law enforcement officials have been extremely thorough and diligent to ensure we are coordinated, prepared, and ready for anything, and we thank them for their efforts.”
