Get your leashes out and your detective skills ready for a paw-fert summer adventure! Temecula Police Departments’ beloved K9 Dayka has escaped and is on the run around town and she wants you to catch her! To show your love for Temecula, follow the City of Temecula’s Facebook and/or Instagram pages. A scavenger hunt will take place every Wednesday, starting June 19, 2019 through July 24, 2019. A secret “Pupdate” as to where Dayka is hiding that day will be posted each Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. via the City’s social media accounts….but don’t go barking up the wrong tree! If you are the first to find her, snap a photo with the Dayka stuffed animal using #IFoundDayka and paw-claim your seat with the pack at an exclusive meet and greet with the real K9 Dakya and other Riverside Sheriff K9s that will be held at the end of July.
