"Chernobyl" HBO Series Review

Chernobylis a five-part historical drama television miniseries created and written by Craig Mazin, and directed by Johan Renck. The series was produced by HBO in association with Sky UK, it depicts the Chernobyl nuclear disaster of April 1986 and the unprecedented cleanup efforts that followed. It features an ensemble cast led by Jared Harris, Stellan Skarsgård, Emily Watson, and Paul Ritter. The series premiered in the United States and the United Kingdom on May 6–7, 2019.

The Good

This 5 party series present meticulous evidence of not only what happened...but what happened AFTER....and why it all happened..... as well as how it could have been avoided.

The Bad

Nothing bad about the content or presentation. The bad is finding out how close the disaster came to literally killing MILLIONS of people. Also how many thousands of Russians had to give their lives to save the world from the massive death toll that this disaster could have created.

The Recommendation

This is a mini-series that is so good.... I think it should be shown in high school history classes....it is that accurate and that good.
