Concert Review: Big Bad Voodoo Daddy 6/28/19

Last Friday after a long day of sailing, I normally would just relax at home...but on this Friday (6/28), after we finished a great day of sailing, we all decided to stay and watch Big Bad Voodoo Daddy perform from the docks out side of the outdoor venue called Humphreys.

This is a way fun area to watch a concert, but it's not open to the public...unless you have a small boat, paddle board, or kayak. You can watch from the water if you have one of those, but to be on the dock, you have to be a guest of a marina boat owner.

Watching from the docks is always fun as you can go back and forth to you "host boat" for "beverages" and you malways meet new people while on the dock watching the show.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy did not disappoint. There was no opener, (which I though was a good thing because some of the recent opening bands weren't worth was the wife of the headliner and the other came straight from the lounge).

BBVD's set started energetically and continued that way throughout. There are many talented individuals within this band, as each one was featured with a solo, they stepped to the front of the stage making it easy to see and enjoy their talents.

..and there was enough room on the docks for my friend Chris to do a little swing dancing with out friends....and no one fell in the water....that's a good night.
