The monthly program Second Saturday at the Temecula Valley Museum continues the celebration of the United States of America’s 243rd birthday, and will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing (July 20, 1969) with fun activities, live music, and refreshments!
In Sam Hicks Monument Park, Valley Winds Swing Band will be playing some favorite classic American hits. Enjoy the music and cool off with a red, white, and blue shaved ice provided by Hokulia (while supplies last).
Inside the museum, we will be celebrating the monumental date in American history of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing with a special photo wall and crafts. Be sure to check out the Temecula Valley Museum gift shop for special merchandise in honor of this celebration. And, Tony Moramarco of Bigfoot Graphics will be leading a complimentary art lesson that coincides with this month’s theme.
