Throwback Thursday: My First Motorcycle

On this date, when I was barely 18 years old, I bought my 1st motorcycle.....

I know some of you experienced riders will laugh at this bike- a Yamaha 185 Twinstar, but I will tell you...this is the PERFECT learner bike for someone just learning to ride...

It's light so if it falls over, you won't be pinned down..and it had so little compression, it was virtually impossible to stall!

The pictures below were after I had it painted...candy apple gold.

I wish I still had that bike....it was the first of 3 I have owned.
