City of Temecula Presents Inaugural Sensory Friendly Public Safety Event

The City of Temecula will host a Sensory Friendly Public Safety Event on Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Margarita Community Park (29119 Margarita Road). The event will include safety personnel, kid’s activities, CPR demonstrations, resources and other safety related information.

This will be a unique, interactive, outdoor, family and sensory friendly event that allows children to have a hands-on experience with their favorite big trucks and vehicles! Event activities include special quiet sensory areas, face painting, bouncy castle, sensory enrichment activities, introduction to a fire truck and patrol unit with no lights or sirens, and more.

Participating organizations include Disability Sports Foundation, Comprehensive Autism Center, Canine Support Teams, Police, Fire, California Highway Patrol, Community Action Patrol, Temecula Citizens Corp, Faith Bible Church, Temecula’s Youth Advisory Council, and more.
