Since the Dodgers are in a do-or-die game 5 today, I thought I share something from a great day in Dodger history.
My stepdad Bob (RIP) had the ticket in the picture and went to the World Series. It was the pivotal Game 3 against the Twins.
After losing the first 2 games of the 1965 World Series, the Dodgers needed a strong performance from Claude Osteen. He pitched a complete game shutout. The Dodgers won the game 4-0 and went on to win the World Series in 7 games.
Let's root for the Dodgers to close out the NLDS today!
