When my good friend, and former Radio 94/5 Rising Star Champion Joanna Pearl invited me to come see the studio she is recording new music at (including a great new song called "I Am Woman" that should be released soon), I jumped at the chance.
There are two things our Temecula Valley music scene could really use. One is a live music venue like the Belly Up, or even the Casbah down in San Diego. The other thing is a good recording studio for local artists that is manned by people who know how to get the most out of those studios.
I'm still waiting on the venue, but after meeting with Bryan Lanning and Daniel Martin owners of Cali Co. recording Studios (both pictured with Joanna and I in their control room), I think we now have a great local recording studio.
Many of you who send me music sometimes get the tough feed back from me that I have given that although I might like what you have, the production values are not up to the standards to get on Radio 94/5. Now you have a place to go to up your musical game.
