"Dwight's Daily Dose of New Music": Music Reimagined With a 12 String

When we first launched "The New Radio 94/5" back in 2014, and I started my first week hosting "More Music in the Morning" I had a musical guest on each day. One of those 5 musician friends was Gary Myrick.

From "She Talks in Stereo" with The Figures to "Missing You" (w John Waite) to songs with Paul Simonon of the Clash in Havava 3AM to his long solo career, Gary has never stopped making music.

Today's selection is a reinterpretation of the song "Imaginary Western' done with Gary's voice...and his 12 string.

It's on his new album coming out May 28th called "Forever adventures in 12 string"

The photo is Garry and I outside a venue a few years ago. We have already planned to update that photo (I know it's a bit blurry), when live music returns and Gary gets back to playing live again.

If you are an artist or in a band and have new music send it to me and I might feature you in a future addition of the "Dose" which we do every weekday morning in the 9am hour.
