I have been getting Facebook messages and music from my friend from England Chris White and Shorty for a few years now. It's always creative and good stuff so I used to play stuff from Shorty on the old "Sunday Night Music meeting' new music show (stay tuned for the possible return of that show someday...)
Today I feature Shorty on the Dose with a guest.
Here's the info sent to me about this current musical project:
"Shorty are a vehicle for English singer songwriter Chris White and various musicians that he has played with over the last 30 years, usually staying within a pop/rock genre. Chris was introduced to L30 Robinson who not only lives in the same town of Northampton, but in the next street!! This has been new ground for both Chris and L30 but they both found the collaboration great fun and found each other easy to work with despite the 28-year age gap.
Initial reviews have been glowing and an album is being written.
Due to lockdown restrictions in England the video was shot in each of the musicians houses and pieced together like a patchwork quilt. The song is available to watch on YouTube and also from all good streaming/download services".
