On this day in 2009 I sat down with Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy from the Cult for one of many interviews I have done with the band over the years.
On this day they were performing at Pala Casino Resort and I recorded the interview in the bands hotel room.
We talked about the bands music...the new tour at the time.. and Ian's time just finished singer for "The Doors of the 21st Century" Ian said it was incredibly difficult but also rewarding to take the place of Jim Morrison with the surviving members of The Doors for that tour- I saw 2 shows on that tour. One at Street Scene San Diego and the other at Pechanga.
