The following is a message from the City of Temecula:
Every ten years, local governments use new census data to redraw their district lines to reflect how local populations have changed. The Elections Code requires local governments, like the City of Temecula, to engage communities in the redistricting process by holding public hearings and doing public outreach. In Temecula, the City Council is responsible for drawing council districts and the redistricting process must be completed by April 17, 2022.
August 24, 2021 (1st Pre-Draft Public Hearing) at 7 p.m.
September 28, 2021 (2nd Pre-Draft Public Hearing) at 7:30 p.m.
January 25, 2022 (1st Post-Draft Public Hearing) at 7:30 p.m.
March 8, 2022 (2nd Post-Draft Public Hearing) at 7:30 p.m.

All members of the community are strongly encouraged to participate in the redistricting process.
