- The Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce will host the 15th Annual Women in Business Conference on Thursday, September 16, 2021, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm in the stunning Summit Ballroom at Pechanga Resort & Casino. The event title sponsors are Abbott and Pechanga Resort & Casino. The Women in Business Conference is a one-day event designed to inspire, motivate, and equip business professionals. At the conference attendees will have the opportunity to listen to speakers share their experiences with practical tools for flourishing in today’s business world; enjoy food by Pechanga's award-winning chef and bid on silent auction items donated by various businesses; attend exhibitor tables set up by companies that offer great products or services as well as participate in a handbag drawing contest.

Dr. Betina Wofford-Gilmore - Dr. Betina Wofford-Gilmore is a clinical therapist, educator, entrepreneur, and consultant with nearly 20 years of experience in the social work field. She has a reputation for being an innovative leader who collaborates well and encourages others to be motivated towards their goals. Dr. Wofford-Gilmore currently serves as program director at FACES (Faculty Advocacy Care Engagement & Support) while also teaching part time at California State University San Marcos where she holds two positions: professor within MSW program and Director of Program Development for Be Well Counseling Services. Betina utilizes a multidimensional approach to therapeutic engagement by exploring one’s biological, psychological, social, and spiritual wellness to improve overall quality of life for those seeking therapy. As the mother of four, she has had to learn the art of navigating family life, career advancement, as well personal and professional growth and finds joy in sharing all that she has learned with others.
Denyse Wilson - Denyse Wilson has been a licensed Realtor for over 15 years. She started selling Real Estate in the Rancho Cucamonga area before moving to Temecula with her husband and son Jordan, where she is now serving as Chief Financial Officer at Southwest Riverside County Association of Realtors (SWRCAR). Denyse holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Illinois State University and currently serves on several boards on Local, State & National levels. Denyse was awarded Outstanding Achievement by California Association of Distinguished Agents 2015 - 2016. Denyse has also been nominated for several service awards, such as the Joan Sparkman Unity Award and recently Temecula’s Citizen of the Year 2020. Denyse currently serves as Commissioner for the City of Temecula’s Race, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion committee. Denyse is serving her seventh year on the Executive Leadership Team for American Heart Association (AHA) and chairs AHA's Annual Heart & Stroke Walk in Riverside County 2017 and 2021. In 2017, she started a heart disease awareness campaign called “Rock Your Red” with a colleague to empower women about cardiovascular diseases that affect them or their loved ones. Nine years ago, she underwent open-heart surgery due to congenital heart disease; it was traumatic experience at first but now gives her strength when talking about how important health education can be preventative care too.
Karissa Harrison - Karissa is a Certified Enneagram Coach and Consultant who is passionate about helping leaders use the Enneagram to create a plan for personal and spiritual growth that works so well, everyone around them notices the results. With more than 15 years of leadership experience, including at the executive level, she is passionate about helping individuals and teams use the Enneagram to perform at their highest and best. She's been married to her husband Ryan for 14 years. Together they have 3 school age kids, and live in Murrieta, CA. She prefers a great book to Netflix and quiet conversations over large crowds.
The topics for this year’s conference include valuable tools to build on culture and diversity in the workplace as well as help leaders use the Enneagram personality framework as a tool to measure and increase emotional intelligence.
