When the Dodgers returned to freindly confines of home, we all expected an easy win.
With Buehler on the mound and in front of the hometown crowd, the Dodger seemed a sure thing.
It didn't exactly go that way.
The Dodgers did jump to an early lead with Cory Seager's 1st inning 2 run home run (his second in 2 days), but after that...the offense disappeared.
The Braves built a 5-2 lead and it looked like the Dodgers would be pushed to the bring of elimination.
Then the BelliBomb...
With 2 men on in the bottom of the 8th. Cody Bellinger, who has had such a rough season hitting below .200, unleased a towering drive that sailed into the stands. The game was suddenly tied.
Later that same inning Mookie Betts doubled in Chris Taylor, and with 3 strikeouts to finish off the Braves in the 9th, the Dodgers find themselves right back in it!
First pitch for game 4 is at 5:08 today..
