La Cocina Bar and Grill is holding a fundraising pancake breakfast on Sunday, November 28, for the local Temecula Valley Horsemen’s Rose Parade Team 2022. The group includes 15 horses, 28 team members including local dignitaries in a horse drawn wagon and followed by the Riverside County Sheriff's Department MED unit and the Temecula Cowgirl Color Guard.
The group will also perform in the Tournament of Roses Equestfest Horse Show on December 29 as well as participate in the 5-mile Rose Parade on January 1, 2022.
To aid in the travel, boarding and entry fees, the team is fundraising. La Cocina will donate 50% of the pancake breakfast proceeds to the group. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the restaurant at 32459 Temecula Parkway, Temecula. The breakfast will run from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. Cost is $13 and tickets can be bought at the event. There are also drawing tickets for a variety of prizes.
