Here's more info from the Temecula Community Services Department:
The Temecula Valley Museum is proud to host the student artwork of Bigfoot Art Classes, led by instructor Tony Moramarco, this coming January in our new exhibit, Anime Temecula. These students have practiced techniques used to create Japanese anime, the prominent method of creating visual media in the country housing Temecula’s sister city, Daisen. A prominent feature of the anime style is the expressive and vibrant character designs coupled with a more realistic method of drawing backgrounds and objects. While the term anime is often used for animated shows and movies, mangais the equivalent for Japanese graphic novels. Both of these have become one of the most recognizable forms of Japanese media and have reached widespread popularity in international audiences. We invite any enthusiasts of anime to stop by and enjoy the wonderful work of our local artists, as well as anyone curious about the iconic cultural style!
