There is a great deal we could say about how bad 2021 was...the pandemic pretty much making the year a struggle for all of us, but I wanted to try and focus on what I did that was fun and meaningful this past year...month by month.
January- I was grateful that while much of the rest of the country was dealing with snow, I was biking the boardwalk at the beach with my friends..
February- I did experience "traditional winter' with a trip up to the slopes of Mountain High
March- We did a St Patty's edition of our weekly pickle ball game
April- Sailing in great weather on San Diego bay and out into the ocean
May- I travelled to Palm Springs for a friends birthday party- which took place outside and by the pool
June- Water toys on the bay- I bought 2 new SUP's and put them to good use with friends
July- Watching Fireworks from the edge of San Diego Bay and celebrating my birthday (which was officially the next day)
August- A train ride to L.A. to see Dodger baseball
September The Same Same But Different Music festival on the shores of Lake Perris
October An outdoor Halloween House Party with good friends
November- The MS Dinner & Auction to raise funds to help those with Multiple Sclerosis
December- Sailing on a HUGE Catamaran on San Diego Bay
They aren't in order, but there is a picture for each monthly highlight.....
Looking back...not a bad year at all...
