With the main antagonist in the show Bobby Axelrod escaping justice to Switzerland (and the actor quitting the show), Billions will be challenged as to whether it can keep up the interest to compete with other genre type series like "Succession" (which has far greater critical acclaim already)
After watching the first episode of Season 6, I'm not so sure. It's still a decent show with many of the core cast still there, but they will definitely need to pick up the pace on the over arching story, rather than just episodic little tricks like they indulged in this last Sunday.
