I was a very young lad, but I do remember watching the 49ers winning their very first NFL Championship on this date 40 years ago. I was living in my hometown of San Marcos and watched with a group of friends..one of which was a diehard Bengals fan.
If things go the way I want them to this weekend, the 49ers and Bengals will play each other for all the marbles for the third time this year...the 49ers won both of the first 2.
Of course the both teams will have to pull upsets this weekend for that to happen....but how cool would that be???
Hoping the 49ers end the season #1 in all of football!
