It's Temecula Valley Tuesday, where I normally feature unsigned local artists. Today I'm going a bit outside the valley to feature someone you've heard about during my morning show before.
A couple of years ago I told you about a huge effort to keep the parking lots and bay front beaches public down at Bahia Point on Mission Bay. A local hotel was proposing a take over that would have taken away the easy public access to the beach to launch kayaks, and SUP's. One of the leasers in that effort to Save The Point was Greg Knight. I blogged about it and even interviewed a local city council candidate who supported keeping that area fully accessible to the public. She won that election and through her efforts and Greg's constant attention to the issue, Bahia Point has not changed and is still a place to go for family and water toy enthusiasts.
Being the Renaissance Man that he is, Greg Knight has now also written, and produced a song about his experience living and being a part of "The Beach Life" . I'll be featuring that on the Dose today.
