Today's artist began his career in the late 1970's with his band The Soft Boy. You probably know him better as Robyn Hitchcock the solo artist. His most well known song was called "Balloon Man" and that one came out in the 1980's.
Robyn continues to make great music (with a distinctly British sense of humor), today and his new single is called "The Shuffle Man". his new album out soon is called, "Shufflemania"
Here is some info from PlayME:
"The Shuffle Man" is the imp of change - the agent of fortune: he throws the cards up in the air and leaves you to cope with where they fall. He is the exhilaration of chaos - with fast hands and a stovepipe hat. Brendan Benson (The Raconteurs) plays everything but the wobbly rhythm guitar, and also sings all the harmonies.
Robyn Hitchcock: Vocal, electric guitars
Brendan Benson: Backing vocals, drums, bass, organ, electric guitars, percussion
Robyn will be touring in the south east in November...I'll let you know when SoCal dates are announced...
